13-week contract Moderate sedation experience Teamwork and willingness to help out when needed Experience with EPIC and Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm Competence in managing conscious sedation, charting, circulating, pre and post for IR Schedule Information
2x10hr shifts & 2x8hr shifts OR all 8s Shifts are from 0700-1530 and 0600-1630 Team scheduling, posted 17 days prior for 6 weeks at a time Weeknight call requirements: 1-2 days per week Weekend call requirements: Every third weekend on call Holiday call requirements: Every other Unit Specific Information
Number of suites/labs: 2 labs Average cases per day: 5-10 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Inpatient, outpatient, emergent, Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolizations, Lines, Tubes, Visceral, Para, Thora, Biopsies-drain insertions-chest tubes, CT and US areas Interventionalist hours/on call: Intensivist MD In house 24/7, IR always available, on call after hours Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift: Team Lead there and working in the lab, supervisor and lead to sign time cards IR Techs: Yes Self-scheduling/Block scheduling: Team scheduling posted 17 days prior for 6 weeks at a time Additional Details
Department: IR (RN) Radiation Badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start Lead will be provided, bring your own lock for locker and hospital designated shoes Call response time: 30 minutes Floating Requirements: Radiology pre/post Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided Number of shifts for unit/department specific orientation: One week- classroom and lab Radius Rule: 50 miles RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract)
