Key Responsibilities
Safety Leadership:
Champion safety as a top priority, collaborating with the EHS Manager to uphold a safe working environment through comprehensive policies and programs. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the liaison between maintenance, manufacturing, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations. Performance Management:
Set and monitor staff performance and development goals, establish KPI improvement targets, and manage performance effectively. Contractor Education:
Ensure contractors are well-informed about company policies and procedures. Engineering Functions
Capital Budgeting:
Prepare plant capital budgets, initiate projects, and manage engineering requests, estimates, and capital expenditures. Solution Development:
Collaborate with internal and external resources to enhance machines, equipment, and facilities, aligning with plant goals and safety standards. Equipment Management:
Develop specifications, assist in selecting, purchasing, and installing production equipment. Project Implementation:
Oversee capital projects from inception to implementation, maintaining cost tracking and quarterly expenditure reports. Project Scheduling:
Develop and adhere to project schedules for equipment integration. PM Pillar Leadership:
Lead initiatives to enhance equipment reliability. Maintenance Functions
Inventory Management:
Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring timely recommendations for obsolescence. Equipment Maintenance:
Schedule routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. Facility Management:
Oversee maintenance of grounds, buildings, and parking lots. Continuous Improvement:
Develop a robust improvement program for the maintenance department. Systems Management:
Ensure security, fire, and emergency systems are operational and routinely tested. Utilities Management:
Track and monitor facility utilities, implementing energy-saving measures. Work Order Scheduling:
Coordinate internal maintenance work orders and liaise with external vendors as needed. Safety Culture:
Promote a strong safety culture, adhering to all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies. Policy Enforcement:
Facilitate and enforce all company policies and procedures. Performance Metrics:
Achieve or surpass plant business plans and KPIs. Cultural Integration:

Education: BS in Engineering or a related field required. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Engineering and/or manufacturing, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or equivalent software. Industrial Experience: Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
