Software Engineer - Application Development

Candidates must be located within the greater Beaverton/Portland Area and available to travel to our client's Beaverton office when needed. Applicants submitted outside of this location will not be considered. Position Summary

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to develop and modify extensions and integrations for our client's internal platform and suite of applications, which support high-volume, mission-critical processing. This role focuses on hands-on support, enhancing, and implementing client requests into the Open Print workflow using .NET, Java, and SQL technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to organize workload and priorities, complete tasks on time, and work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, this individual will act as a resource for other software engineers and serve as a liaison between the department manager, other analysts, and the business team. Responsibilities Agile Development

: Utilize Agile Scrum SDLC methodologies throughout the full life cycle software development process, including requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging, and testing of system software production applications.

Technical Design and Implementation

: Participate in technical design and implementation, proactively raising issues if specifications may lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues.

Collaboration

: Work closely with fellow developers and business unit members, demonstrating a self-directed and proactive approach to solving problems.

Development and Debugging

: Develop, debug, and deliver enterprise applications, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.

Mentorship

: Proactively mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrable knowledge of C#, MVC, WCF, WPF, and JavaScript.

Experience with Knockout or Angular is a plus.

Self-starter capable of working on small teams in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle.

Outstanding troubleshooting skills.

Proven problem-solving abilities and creative thinking.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

2 years of software development experience.

1 year of experience with C#.

Compensation:

$30-35/hr

Pay Details:

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour
