BLS ARRT Job Details
Level 1 trauma and Siemen’s experience is required. Under general supervision and following established procedures, operates CT equipment (e.g. CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, Patient monitoring devices, etc.) to acquire images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Explains exam to patient taking into consideration physical and emotional needs; maintains ethical standards (patient confidentiality, professional conduct, etc.). Execute paperwork and Radiology Information System functions as necessary for each patient exam (e.g. schedule exam, complete exam, transfer images to PACS, etc.). Performs all other duties as directed. Job Requirements
Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology. Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent. Must meet and maintain the ARRT CT certification. 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses. Additional Details
A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the WHO is required. No exemptions or waivers for COVID-19 vaccination will be considered. Documentation of MMR vaccinations or Proof of immunity via blood test. Influenza Vaccine required during flu season. No exemptions or waivers will be considered.
