Job Description:

The Manual Dump Truck Driver for Public Works will play a key role in maintaining and improving Tucker's infrastructure. In this position, you will operate a manual transmission dump truck to haul materials such as asphalt, concrete, gravel, and debris. You will also assist with various maintenance tasks, including patching potholes, repairing sidewalks, and maintaining storm drains. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the city's appearance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a manual transmission dump truck to transport asphalt, concrete, and other materials to and from job sites. Attend, and participate in, daily team safety meetings Assist with infrastructure maintenance tasks, including:

Patching potholes and repairing sidewalks. Cleaning and repairing storm drains and drainage systems. Loading and unloading materials as required.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the truck is in safe operating condition. Adhere to scheduled routes, ensuring timely delivery of materials to job sites. Support the Public Works team during maintenance and repair projects as needed. Follow all city, state, and federal safety regulations and traffic laws. Qualifications:

Proven experience operating manual transmission dump trucks. Clean driving record with no major violations. Familiarity with asphalt, concrete, and general construction materials. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and maneuvering heavy materials. Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and ability to troubleshoot minor issues. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills:

Experience in public works, construction, or municipal services. Knowledge of road repair, stormwater management, or similar tasks. Familiarity with the Tucker area and its road network. Benefits:
