Job Description Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Job Specialty: Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (7 am to 5:30 pm) with rotating days off throughout the month Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: More than 2 years of Cath Lab experience is preferred License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: Appropriate certifications for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures Must-Have: Proficiency in the use of EMR systems, knowledge of EPIC system
Job Description:
- Administer moderate sedation to patients undergoing procedures. - Monitor patients during various cardiac procedures to ensure safety and efficacy. - Assist with the setup and breakdown of procedures. - Participate in procedures such as left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR), and device implants. - Be available for call duty, including one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks. - Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with healthcare regulations and standards.
