Job Description Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Job Specialty: SLP Outpatient Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off once per two-week pay period Experience: At least 1 year required License: Valid CA license must be in hand; no temporary licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, LSVT preferred Must-Have: - Experience with both pediatric and adult patients
Job Description: - Provide rehabilitative therapy services to both pediatric and adult patients. - Work with patients diagnosed with autism, articulation disorders, CVA, Parkinson's disease, cancer, and aphasia. - Experience in a teaching hospital preferred. - Availability to work on a block schedule Monday through Friday. - Orientation consists of 40 non-billable hours. - Completion of non-billable modules is required pre-start and annually, with time spent self-reported. - Must commit to working 3 of 5 key holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. - Return staff may rejoin after a 3-month period. - All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may lead to termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
