Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in Asset Management to join our team. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including trading, portfolio management, compliance, and risk, to deliver technology solutions that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in systems development life cycle, including requirements gathering, system design, and business analysis. Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) such as BlackRock Aladdin or Charles River is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Lead meetings with users, developers, system architects, and vendors to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and document technical specifications. System Design & Development: Collaborate with developers to design technical solutions and ensure that system specifications align with business objectives. Cross-Functional Support: Work with multiple stakeholders, including portfolio managers, traders, and risk teams, to support the implementation of technology solutions that improve business workflows. Agile Methodology: Partner with Agile teams to write user stories, create UAT test scripts, and generate release notes and other project artifacts. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate UAT testing between vendors, business teams, and internal technology teams to ensure successful system implementation. Technology Recommendations: Analyze and provide technology recommendations to the business, ensuring that solutions align with both short- and long-term business goals. Stakeholder Management: Lead teams through requirement gathering, story writing, and sprint planning while ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions. Order Management System (OMS) Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of OMS, specifically Aladdin OMS or Charles River, to enhance portfolio management and trading workflows. Data and System Support: Provide ongoing support for vendor applications and in-house systems, ensuring smooth operations and resolving issues as needed. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. 8+ years of relevant experience as an IT business systems analyst, with a focus on Asset Management and trading systems. 5-7 years of experience in systems development life cycle, including requirements gathering, specifications definition, system design, testing, and successful implementation. 5+ years of experience conducting requirements-gathering meetings with users, developers, system architects, system integrators, and vendors. 5+ years of experience in a cross-functional environment, supporting stakeholders such as trading, portfolio management, compliance, and/or risk. 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment (writing user stories, UAT test scripts, and project artifacts). 3-5 years of experience with Visio, Lucid Chart, or other visualization software (creating flowcharts to represent workflows). 3-5 years of experience with collaborative tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Confluence. Experience with OMS such as Aladdin OMS, Charles River, or other widely used Order Management Systems. Experience with Order Management and Portfolio Management tools, particularly in front office environments. Proven ability to lead requirements, story writing, and sprint planning sessions with internal teams and business stakeholders. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Finance-related certifications such as CFA Foundation or CFA certification. Subject matter expertise with OMS/EMS systems like BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, Virtu Triton, or Bloomberg EMSX. Extensive experience in financial asset management, particularly in equity trading, portfolio management, operations, and accounting. Experience with component-based development (integrating vendor products with in-house developed code). Strong data analysis skills and experience in agile development environments. Confidence in presenting both strategic and tactical solutions to business teams for both high-level planning and day-to-day project management. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

Certifications (if any):

CFA Foundation or CFA certification is preferred.

Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner) are a plus.
