About the Team TikTok Shop is an innovative e-commerce solution which enables merchants, brands and creators to sell products directly on TikTok. Being part of the TikTok Shop Design team member, you will be able to utilize qualitative/quantitative studies to collect user feedback, create a deep understanding and empathy for our users, and work cross-functionally with design, product, and marketing teams to meet the business needs. On the TikTok Shop business design team, we believe in design that prioritizes usability, functionality, and impact. Responsibilities 1. Concept Development: Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking and understanding of e-commerce operations. Brainstorm with operation and marketing strategists to align narratives with core business objectives. 2. Art Direction: Stay at the forefront of production practices, design trends, and innovative resources to push creative boundaries and enhance TikTok Shop's visual identity. 3. Campaign Key Visual Execution: Visualize and execute campaign key visuals and related assets using Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Develop visual guidelines to ensure consistency and impact. 4. Design System Maintenance: Contribute to and maintain TikTok Shop's Visual Identity Guidelines, ensuring alignment with the platform's evolving visual standards. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, product, operations, creative design, and product design teams to ensure seamless integration of creative and operational goals. 6. Testing and Feedback: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine visual and interaction designs, ensuring alignment with user needs. 7. Product Experience Enhancement: Understand product specifications and user psychology, develop wireframes, prototypes, and innovative solutions to solve UX challenges. 8. Implementation: Collaborate with product designers and developers to implement polished and attractive designs that meet business and user needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 1. B2C visual and interaction design experiences in tech companies. 2. Bachelor's degree in design or a related field. 3. 3-5 years experience visual design or art direction and UX Design. 4. An understanding of TikTok Shop and what is trending on the platform. 5. Detail oriented. Ability to deliver a polished product under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload. 6. Experience working on a tight production schedule and translating ideas into action. 7. Ability to understand business metrics and translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences -
Preferred Qualifications 1. E-comm campaign design experiences is a plus. 2. 3D and motion design skills, AIGC skills are a plus. 3. A portfolio of best-in-class creativity that connects brands with audiences digitally and beyond. 4. Good communicator and ability to design and articulate your concepts in a clear, concise manner. 5. Good time management skills and creative situational awareness ability. Experience in project management.
