AlliedTravelCareers is working with TLC Nursing Associates Inc to find a qualified Radiation Therapist in Waxahachie, Texas, 75165 About The Position Job Title: Radiation Therapy Technologist (Radiology) Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Radiation Therapy Technologist to join our radiology team. In this role, you will administer radiation treatments to patients with cancer and other medical conditions as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. You will be responsible for patient positioning, operating radiation equipment, and providing compassionate care throughout the treatment process. Responsibilities: Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments, ensuring accurate patient positioning and dosage. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and treatment planning systems. Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to ensure precise and effective treatment plans. Monitor patients during treatments, providing support and addressing any side effects or concerns. Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, safety guidelines, and aftercare. Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Adhere to all radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure. Requirements: Certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) and active licensure. Proficiency with radiation therapy techniques and equipment. Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration. Compassionate and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
