Job Description
Responsible for achieving the sales expectations of the assigned territory. Success is realized by building strong customer relationships, conducting consultative sales producing calls, utilizing solid product and disease state technical knowledge, developing and following a solid territory business plan, and reporting sales related activities to upper management through a call reporting system. This position will be responsible for selling product to physicians and support staff in hospitals, ASCs, and other call points.
Products
Barricaid is the only FDA PMA-approved technology indicated for reducing reherniation and reoperation after lumbar discectomy. The implant is anchored to healthy bone with a titanium component that you secure to an adjacent vertebral body. Barricaid also includes a flexible polymer component designed to occlude your patient's annular defect. As a result, Barricaid is designed to withstand 330 psi of pressure in the spinal disc. It also allows for normal anatomical movement following surgery.
Minimum Requirements
3-5+ years of medical device sales experience in Spine or Pain Management Must have experience selling a disruptive product (experience working through challenging reimbursement/unlisted codes) Must have direct physician/surgeon selling experience Consistent history of growth and sales success, achievement of quota/goals Team player, driven, motivated to build business from scratch and create new standard of care with exciting technology Must live in the territory currently Ideal Attributes
Spine sales or Intraoperative lumbar spinal background experience preferred Spine surgeon (Neuro / Ortho) relationships through prior jobs Experience building a territory from scratch Selling through VAC experience preferred Ability to take control of an OR Experience working with challenging sales cycles in a consultative sales role Strong work ethic, positive attitude, coachable, driven, passionate, enthusiastic An excellent track record of success with top 20% sales rankings Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment Experience selling a high value implant VAC submissions Comfortable dealing with the surgeon office and building champions Utilizing miscellaneous code, dealt with challenging reimbursement Prior authorization processes Comfortable proctoring cases in the operating room Location
Acceptable Candidate Location: Orlando, or Tampa FL Territory Parameters: Central Florida territory, including Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Greater Tampa Bay, Brooksville, Greater Orlando, Daytona, Melbourne Compensation Information
Base - $110k-120k Total Income: $270k+ % of Revenue plan once off guarantee
Paid 25% of revenue to dollar 1 on all sales until quota Paid 40% of revenue once past quota Paid 50% of revenue once you hit 115% of quota
Bounty Program:
Opportunity to make intro with other reps and distributors and Intrinsic will pay you:
$500/appointment $1,000 first case 7% thereafter
Stock:
Stock options/equity vesting over 12 months. Performance based options as well. Additional benefits:
