The annual base salary for this position ranges from $69,100.00 in our lowest geographic market to $154,900.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who You’ll Work With
The Privacy Team enables data owners to easily manage data compliance and to comply with global privacy laws. We are the team that brings together technology and data-driven solutions in order to mitigate risk and serve Nike members privacy preferences. We build software solutions to enable ownership of privacy compliance for batch and real-time data products across all Nike experiences.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Software Engineer I to help build tooling to support and drive the Privacy and Data Governance initiatives within Global Technology at Nike. This Software Engineer will be expected to execute on the technical implementation of new features, provide support for existing products and services as well as coordinate with non-technical teammates. Interpersonal skills are important for this role as you will need to communicate with both technical and non-technical teammates.
0-3+ years of experience in software engineering or related field
Solid computer science background with a focus on patterns and algorithmic complexity
Able to quickly pick up new development paradigms, technologies, and frameworks
Solid programming skills in at least one programming language like Java, Scala, Python, JavaScript, Golang, or other programming language
Experience with SQL
Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with technical and nontechnical teammates

What you will work on
With teammates in Portland, Boston, China, and India, you'll be joining a global organization working to solve engineering problems at scale. As a Software Engineer I on the Privacy team you will be focused on the technical implementation of tooling and services that enforce and/or encourage “compliance-by-design” for Nike’s data ecosystem. You will:
Develop, test and implement software to enable privacy compliance
Collaborate with teammates in the design and building of scalable software solutions
Work closely with Product partners to implement new features and enhancements
Ensure product and technical features are delivered to spec and on-time
