Location: Valdosta, GA 31601
Pay Rate: $17.70/hr
Shift: Saint 2nd
Description: Industrial bakery looking for candidate for sanitation. The sanitation department is the foundation of the food safety program and plays a vital role in the program's success. Each crew member is responsible for maintaining the food safe quality of product by following standard operating procedures to exceed industry and federal cleaning and sanitizing requirements. Candidates will be required to rigorously follow the master cleaning schedule as instructed to prepare the plant to be in audit ready status at all times, work with pre mixed chemical cleaning agents to clean, sanitize and return production facility to operation, diligently clean lint, dust, oil, grease, and debris from production facility including machines, overhead pipes, screens and filters, and efficiently operate pressure washer, rack washer, floor scrubber, scissor lift, and forklift, according to equipment specifications.
Hours are 2pm-10:30pm with rotating off days.
