Circinus is hiring: Senior Data Analyst in Washington

Senior Data Analyst needed to serve on a complex technology implementation. Responsibilities include: Lead strategy-driven research planning, management, implementation, and analysis efforts. Assist in the development and implementation of data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Manage and improve existing reporting systems and performs complex analyses. Conduct, facilitate, and educate team on analyses, issues identification, risk assessment, and decision-making processes Develop and implement best practices in data collection methodologies and analyses. Define data assets (data models) for collection and population of such data models. Lead collaborative and relationship-building efforts across relevant internal and external stakeholders to support successful evaluation and assessment efforts. Provide consulting and analytic services to leadership. Provide technical support and mentoring and training to less-senior analysts. Requirements Requirements for the job include: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline and 7 years of of professional experience collecting, developing, and interpreting key data points to support operational decision-making in the public sector OR a Bachelor's degree in the areas above and 10 years of experience Working knowledge of federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration Must be detail oriented and think logically Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills. Ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts Able to work with minimal supervision Strong team leadership and risk management
