Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in data engineering and data warehousing to join our team. This fully remote position (telecommute) requires someone who can work effectively in the Hawaii Standard Time zone (9 AM - 5 PM). The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Azure Data Factory, ETL tools, and large-scale data management. You will play a key role in the development and optimization of data pipelines, as well as supporting various healthcare data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Implement and optimize ETL processes using tools like Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Create and manage stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
• Manage version control with tools like GitHub and SVN.
• Process and integrate both structured and unstructured data.
• Work with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Analyze project requirements and develop detailed specifications for ETL workflows.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for better performance.
• Adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and data architects, to meet business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on Data Warehousing.
• At least 2 years of experience in creating pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• 5+ years of experience developing ETL using Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory.
• Strong expertise with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience creating stored procedures with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server T-SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
• 2+ years of experience using GitHub, SVN, or other source control systems.
• Experience processing structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR healthcare data standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing business needs.
• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or Business).

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• 2+ years of experience with batch or PowerShell scripting.
• 2+ years of experience with Python scripting.
• 3+ years of experience in data modeling in a data warehouse environment.
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, specifically in Data Integration.
• Experience designing and building APIs in Snowflake and ADF (e.g., REST, RPC).
• Experience with State Medicaid, Medicare, or Healthcare applications.
• Azure certifications related to data engineering or data analytics.

Certifications (if any)

• Azure certifications in data engineering or data analytics are preferred.
