We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable individual for the position of Recruiter/Human Resources Representative at our corporate office in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, CA.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid remote schedule available after successfully meeting quality standards at the 6-month review.

Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is full-cycle recruitment and onboarding. Key responsibilities include:

  • Anticipating staffing needs and addressing them through strategic sourcing plans.
  • Posting job openings, screening and interviewing candidates, and presenting top candidates to hiring managers.
  • Conducting verifications of employment and reference checks.
  • Assisting with new hire orientation and tracking turnover trends.
  • Supporting additional HR functions such as records management (electronic and paper), HRIS, employee events, rewards and recognition programs, worker’s compensation, and employee benefits.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a human resources role as an assistant, representative, generalist, or recruiter.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, sociology, psychology, business, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information effectively.
  • Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain tactful, composed, and professional under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships across a wide range of personalities and handle tense situations diplomatically.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
