Plastic Process Technician

• Full-Time
• 3rd shift
• 8pm – 6am
• Sunday – Wednesday (Overtime Thursday when required)
• $28-30
• Resume required with relevant experience*

Process Technician:
Under supervision, understands and executes the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of injection mold operation and die changes while functioning as the team lead for Molding Operators.
Essential Responsibilities:

 

• Schedule and assist with mold/ machine PM’s; will be working with other process tech's
• Participate on teams
• Responsible for injection mold operation and die changes
• Responsible for Resin/components Inventories
• Responsible for daily meetings and team leadership per shift
• Understands and complies with mold, machine and material capabilities
• Regular trouble shooting of injection molding processes and equipment
• Execution of daily production tasks and continuous improvement
• Sequences production orders and ensures we meet customer requirements
• Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas
• Programming experience with ABB, Sepro and Wiley robot programs
• Follows and supports all processes and procedures
• Assures all required documentation is completed properly
• Sets the example for continuous improvement

 
Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

• Some college or technical classroom training

Experience:
Minimum

• 3-5 years injection molding experience
• 1-2 years as a process technician

Preferred

• 5+ years injection molding experience
• 3-5 years as a process technician
• 1-2 years paint experience
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
