What you'll do:

The Product Market Manager, North America acts as a link between the North America Sales Organization and Product Management. The role plays a critical role in supporting strategy execution and representing US customers' needs in existing processes and future product innovation.

While reporting to the Product Management organization in Stockholm, Sweden, the role is located in the Tobii Dynavox US hub in Pittsburgh, embedded in the North America Sales leadership team.

Your days will be filled with:

Representing North America Sales in Product management process
  • Streamlining and future-proofing Sales and recommender needs into product management
  • Assuring that desired outcomes are scalable across the North American market
  • Highlighting portfolio gaps, always backed by data
  • Participate in regular product management forums; status meetings, retrospectives, planning, and strategy work.
Representing Product management in North America Sales process
  • Coordinate with other departments within Tobii Dynavox such as marketing and finance to ensure transparency, that dependencies are considered and managed, as well as project status is communicated to relevant parties.
  • Lead and collaborate with product development, project teams, North American Regional Directors, and global organization to secure progress and business value in the product delivery.
  • Participate in regular North American Sales forums, as assigned by President.
Competitor Analysis
  • In a structured way, visualize and communicate the North American market landscape, its trends and evolvements
  • On top of US funding bodies' requirements in relation to product management
Recommender First
  • In line with the company's strategy, at all times make sure that US recommender pain points are highlighted in the product management process
  • Act as point-of-contact for product management questions and user testing with US recommenders.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably a Masters degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in product management, experience management, engineering, sales, marketing, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Relevant industry experience, such as Speech-Language Pathologist or similar, is highly preferred
  • MS Office-Power Point, Word, Excel
  • Data analytics tooling, such as Productboard, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Power BI, or similar is preferred
  • Whiteboard tooling, such as Miro is preferred
Skills needed to be successful in this position:
  • Team player and collaborative personality with good communication and coordination skills
  • Exhibits a passion for the business and develops a solid understanding of the service offering, the customer landscape & customer journey, and the business model.
  • Strategic mindset and portfolio understanding.
  • Builds strong relationships with key leaders and stakeholders, in particular with North American organization.
  • Builds relations and collaborates successfully on all levels.
  • Proactively understands what needs to be done and sets a clear plan to enable execution.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential both in written and verbally.
  • Experience from product development, including SW and HW.
  • Strong sense for customer experience.
  • Problem-solving skills - identifying and addressing customer issues, resolve conflicts, and find creative solutions to pain points
