Safety Engineer to conduct and interpret seismic subsurface geological surveys to identify characteristics for oil/gas mining/drilling development sites. Design oil/gas extraction process by providing well plans including shape, orientation, depth and landing zones of wells. Create subsurface geological logs and maps to identify formations, thickness, water saturation and potential faults or unsafe geological conditions. Perform rate transient analysis for modeling productions of fluids and estimating reserves using data derived from logs/maps. Predict reserves and performance of well proposals by integrating decline curve, volumetric analysis, and pressure transient analysis Requires MS in Petroleum Engineering with 1 year of relevant work experience.
