General Core Responsibilities:

  1. Delegate responsibilities to Ecoat Lab Technicians as well as Ecoat Maintenance Technicians to ensure efficient time management.
  2. Perform chemical titrations and bath analysis in the various stages of pre-treatment and electro coat systems, as well as physical tests.
  3. Operate Waste Water Treatment according to permit parameters.
  4. Perform Datapaq, voltage sub, ACT panels for SEM/CW.
  5. Add chemicals and paint to the systems as required to maintain the processes within required parameters.
  6. Maintain the multi-stage pre-treatment, Electro coat, DI water, and RO water systems within required operational parameters.
  7. Dump, clean, and recharge tanks, and change filters as needed.
  8. Maintain written and computer-based records of the operational performance of the systems (including Statistical Process Control).
  9. Maintain inventories of chemicals and test supplies.
  10. Communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers, both verbally and with written reports.
  11. General housekeeping.

Desired Proficiencies:

  1. Troubleshooting.
  2. Good leadership ability.
  3. Mathematics.
  4. Ability to understand analytical laboratory reports, compare results, and perform process corrections as required.
  5. Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
  6. Ability to understand and perform verbal and written technical instructions.
  7. Ability to write legibly and logically.
  8. Knowledge of general safety practices.
  9. Good mechanical aptitude.
