Job Description:
- Seeking a Board Certified, Musculoskeletal Fellowship-Trained faculty member to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging. - The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department with over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across various locations. - Required to exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to musculoskeletal imaging. - The position is on-site with participation in interventional procedures, including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy. - The practice setting is hospital-based. - Average Number of Cases Per Day consists of a mix of plain film and cross-sectional, approximately 110 x-rays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound. - Patient age demographic includes all ages, but pediatrics is not required. - Opportunities for clinical and translational research are available if interested. - Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, and Softek Illuminate is required. - Credentialing timeline is usually 2-3 months, depending on whether the physician has an Illinois license in hand.
