JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective The Vice President (VP) of Security Services is responsible for overseeing and leading the security department, with a strategic focus on aligning security solutions with the organization's sales and revenue goals. This position requires a combination of strong leadership, technical expertise in cybersecurity, and an understanding of sales operations. The VP will ensure that the security architecture and solutions are positioned as value-added propositions for clients while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy Development :

Lead and manage the overall security strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with business and sales goals. Develop and implement strategic security plans that align with customer needs, market trends, and sales initiatives. Collaborate with the C-suite and other department leaders to ensure security considerations are embedded into the overall business strategy.

Sales Enablement:

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to translate security solutions into clear, compelling sales propositions. Train and support the sales team in understanding security solutions, effectively communicating value to prospective clients. Act as a key technical resource during sales cycles, providing pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and customer engagement. Develop and implement security-related sales strategies to improve revenue generation through security-focused product offerings.

Security Product & Solution Development:

Ensure security solutions meet both the technical and business needs of the organization and customers. Identify emerging security trends and technologies, ensuring the organization remains ahead of the curve and offers relevant, competitive solutions. Ensure the security solutions portfolio is adaptable to different client needs and verticals, contributing to sales enablement.

4.Client Relationships: Cultivate relationships with high-profile clients, acting as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries. Understand client security needs and advise on the appropriate solutions to help them achieve their business objectives. Provide ongoing security expertise and recommendations to clients, ensuring their security requirements are met and exceeded. 5.Budget & Resource Management:

Oversee the budget and resources for the security department, ensuring efficient use of technology, personnel, and time to meet sales goals and security objectives. Manage external partnerships with security vendors, third-party contractors, and consultants to enhance the organization's security capabilities. Key Skills:

Leadership and Management: Strong ability to lead, manage, and motivate large, diverse teams, with a proven track record of developing effective security strategies and programs. Crisis Management and Decision Making: Exceptional skills in responding to high-pressure situations, making rapid decisions, and leading teams through crises. Technological Proficiency: Expertise in the latest security technologies, including surveillance systems, screening equipment, access control solutions, and cybersecurity tools. Communication and Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, law enforcement, airport management, and contractors. Risk Management: Ability to assess and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities across various areas of the airport. Competencies

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work varied.

Travel

Travel is expected for this position.

Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Aviation Security, or a related field. A Master's degree or an MBA is preferred. Experience :

A minimum of 10 years of experience in security management, with at least 5-7 years in an executive or senior leadership role in the airport, aviation, or transportation sector. Significant experience managing large security teams and liaising with government agencies and external stakeholders.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and speak English. The ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor. Proficient in Microsoft 365

Security Clearance (if applicable)

Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.
