EDO Press . The Role

The VP of People will have a track record of demonstrating and driving excellence in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strong leadership and management skills, sound judgement and a passion for building a high-performance culture.

The VP of People will oversee a current team of a People Operations Manager and a contract Recruiter. This key hire will be comfortable and highly competent across the entire employee journey: fostering company culture and engagement, attracting the very best talent and retention, performance management, and learning & development. What You Will Do Develop and execute People strategies, programs and initiatives that directly align with EDO's business strategy. Partner directly with the leadership team to guide them on all People related initiatives. Leverage data and analytics to understand employee engagement and opportunities to enhance retention and satisfaction. What We Are Looking For Demonstrated success with building and leading a People team; setting People related strategies that drive employee engagement and culture. Proven ability to translate business priorities into People initiatives with metrics to support and track success. Experience with entrepreneurial companies (either venture capital or private equity backed), with a track record of scaling company headcount during key growth phases. Skilled in process implementation, foundation building, and ensuring compliance, with extensive knowledge across multiple Human Resource disciplines, including employee relations, talent acquisition, retention, and performance management. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional team members. Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $180,000- $200,000 PLUS discretionary annual performance based bonus and equity in a mid-stage company. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, experience, location and the level of education attained of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
