Summary:
A leading printing and mailing facility in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Feeder Operator to join their team. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art studio capabilities and the latest printing technology, offering a wide range of business communication services, including digital printing, envelope customization, and campaign development.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in changing plates and adjusting mechanisms such as guides, grippers, and elevators for various stock sizes and types; clean inking rollers, lubricate press components, and pack plate and blanket cylinders. * Load the press with the specified type, size, and color of paper stock. * Use tools, equipment, and materials with care. * Identify and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervisors. * Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area. * Follow schedules and both written and verbal instructions. * Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role in the printing industry (2+ years), preferably with the 40-inch Komori * Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs
