The breadth of skills required to lead this transformation is important: our leaders know how to use data:to inform audience strategies in support of the planning team,to extract insights on how to optimize campaigns and apply past learnings to support the investment strategy,to measure business outcomes driven by our marketing efforts,to understand drivers for business growth to support our clients marketing decisions.The Marketing Sciences team is pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services. We are tightly integrated with planning and investment teams to deliver on and exceed our clients business goals.Responsibilities:We are looking for a Senior Director on the Marketing Science team, a leader who will be accountable for the analytics strategy and for the delivery of our work across audience analytics (audience strategy, audience insights, segmentation, etc.), measurement and business intelligence (measurement framework, learning agenda, optimizations, post campaign analytics, etc.) and advanced analytics (predictive modelling, data science) to lead some of our largest accounts across OMD USA. You will own the relationship with key client and manage a team to drive your vision for the account. You will own the Marketing Science roadmap on this account and will be accountable to drive continuous improvement on our work. Collaboration with other leaders across Planning, Investment and Business Operations is key to deliver on your clients’ business objectives.External facing responsibilities:Set the vision, strategy and roadmap to deliver bleeding edge marketing sciences solutions on your portfolio of clients,Develop relationships with clients by providing strategic advisory on how data and analytics can help unlock strategic opportunitiesEncourage creative use of data to solve client’s business challenges and support client’s growth, in close alignment with Planning and Investment teamsDeliver thought leadership by exploring new ways to enhance, develop or execute insights through data and analytics (new partners, new technologies, innovative use of existing solutions)Develop best in class data-driven solutions, in collaboration with Planning and Investment teamsBecome a trusted advisor to client leads and senior clients and consult on audience strategy, measurement, and advanced analyticsShare POVs regarding industry changes in the data and analytics space (future of measurement, new data solutions like clean rooms, attention measurement, etc..)Internal facing responsibilities:Provide methodological support, coaching, training and advice to your direct reports and to the broader OMD teamsActively help to develop and grow OMD Marketing Sciences offerings by contributing to POVs and exchanging knowledge with colleagues at Annalect and in the broader OMG network,Keep in front of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry eventsRequirements:Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data)Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development.Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertisingSolution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic & operational issues as relates to data and analytics. Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution.Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experienceStellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging and straightforward – and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programsAbility to train and coach colleagues for growth: being organized and detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and project management (scope, budgeting, timing)Comfortable working in ambiguous situationsPassionate about driving change by adopting emerging technologies in the advertising spaceEducation / Experience:A university degree and 10 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consultingKnowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required#LI-GC1This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.Compensation Range$180,000—$200,000 USDThis role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
