Position Overview:
The Senior Director, Global Immunoassay Product Management is responsible for leading a team of Product Managers, championing future and on-market products while fostering a culture of innovation. You will be responsible for strategic leadership of Beckman Coulter’s growth opportunities, maximizing core business and adjacent market growth through innovation, partnerships, and lifecycle management.

This high-visibility position will interact with senior leaders throughout the company and Danaher, including research and development, manufacturing, clinical affairs, commercial operations, global marketing, legal, regulatory, and executive leadership. We seek a patient-care and customer-oriented candidate who is comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proven leadership skills and experience in continuous improvement environments are a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define disease leadership strategies in partnership with Product Portfolio & Strategy Managers, leading market research to understand unmet clinical needs and technological trends.
• Identify new product development opportunities to enhance Beckman Coulter’s strategic positioning.
• Translate new product ideas into clear, compelling product definitions for execution by New Product Development (NPD) teams.
• Lead a high-performing team of global Product Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Global Marketing, Market Access, and other stakeholders to bring new products to market and drive successful launches.
• Champion a culture of creativity and collaboration across all stages of the product development lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements:

• 20+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, or medicine; OR 18+ years with a Master's degree; Ph.D. or M.D. preferred.
• Proven track record in leading innovative product management teams for at least six years in the Diagnostics industry or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape governing Medical Devices and Diagnostics.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with a track record of driving results in matrixed organizations.
• Experience in effectively communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years in Immunoassay Diagnostics product management and/or product development.
• Experience in Cardiac, Metabolic, Endocrine, or Reproductive health.
• Partnership experience with external organizations for new product innovation.

The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $275,000. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
