About the Role:

The newly created Head of Growth, Remezcla Agency will impact culture and investment in multicultural and diverse audiences. This leadership role will have a passion for storytelling while managing and growing our agency engagements, driving revenue, and building brand awareness. Reporting to the President of Hispanic Strategy, this role requires a dynamic leader who can develop and nurture top-to-top relationships.

Working in close partnership with the agency leadership team, our president, and our marketing manager, you will play a pivotal role in the future of Remezcla by developing, leading, and executing our agency's new business plan. Elevating the profile of Remezcla and our work, getting us in front of right-fit client prospects where we have a right to win, and defining a winning approach to new business pitches contributing to the agency's overall financial success.

The Head of Growth, Remezcla Agency role, is a seasoned expert in revenue and marketing programs who can inspire client engagement and fuel account growth. A successful candidate will deeply understand what drives senior-level decision-makers and how to cultivate those insights into revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Remezcla agency's new business activity and as the primary contact and driver of all agency RFP responses and pitch processes
  • Lead the collaborative annual development process to build out the agency's new business plan, securing leadership team alignment and approval
  • Engage the integrated resources of the agency to execute the approved new business plan, measure it, and optimize it
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting in the agency's key verticals, including the development of campaign strategy, thought leadership/content creation, message distribution, campaign measurement, optimization, and follow-up plans
  • Active outreach and general relationship building with brand-side marketing leaders who could be prospective client partners for the agency
  • Quarterly email outreach, annual face-to-face contact, and general relationship building with agency search consultants
  • Regular progress reports to the agency leadership team - as well as quarterly shareouts to the agency on our new biz plan progress
  • Drive more differentiated storytelling for the agency across owned/earned/paid messaging channels to elevate our profile with brand-side marketing leaders
  • Represent the agency at industry conferences in agency new business space, as well as in our key client verticals
  • Manage, mentor, and guide career path development for agency marketing manager
  • Oversight of external PR resources, awards show entry process, organic social content, thought leadership output across our verticals, speaking engagements, outbound email, search, and LinkedIn campaigns

Key Projects:

During your first 90 days, you will leverage market data, historical category performance, and industry insights to develop long-range strategies and annual business plans.

Qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience working in a creative agency environment, either in a marketing/business development role and/or account leadership capacity
  • Previous experience managing media agency or client relationships or programs preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • High personal credibility, integrity, client relationship management, networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000- $285,000. The salary and bonus structure is determined on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
