Brief Job Description: Acuity Innovations is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. The Enterprise Architect will play a key role in supporting the Space Development Agency's (SDA) Tranche 3 Program Integration (T3PI) effort of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). This position is critical to ensuring the seamless integration and evolution of the next generation of space vehicles (SV) and ground segment (GS) elements. The Enterprise Architect will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and manage architectural frameworks that enhance capabilities such as missile warning, tracking, and defense, tactical data links, position, navigation, and timing (PNT), and continuous custody of target tracks.

This position supports the SDA's mission to rapidly deliver resilient space-based capabilities that enable the Joint Force to deter and defeat emerging threats.

Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise Architecture Development: Design and implement enterprise architecture frameworks for Tranche 3 systems, ensuring alignment with SDA's mission objectives and PWSA requirements.
  • Integration and Systems Engineering: Support the integration of Tranche 3 Tracking, Transport, and Custody Layers with the PWSA ground and user segments to advance operational capabilities.
  • Capability Enhancements: Develop architectural solutions to improve capabilities such as coverage, sensitivity, and accuracy of missile warning and tracking, resilience and capacity of tactical data links, and PNT accuracy and distribution.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including SDA, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment of technical solutions with operational goals.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Develop and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and analyses to support decision-making and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Technology Assessment: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their integration to enhance the PWSA's operational effectiveness and resilience.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure architectural solutions comply with relevant standards, policies, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to advance the capabilities and performance of the PWSA.

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or related roles within space or defense programs.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in developing and managing enterprise architecture frameworks, tools, and methodologies (e.g., DoDAF, TOGAF).
  • Experience with space systems integration, ground segment architecture, and operational resilience strategies.
  • Familiarity with missile warning/tracking, tactical data links, PNT systems, and autonomous systems integration is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure systems development practices.

  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
