About the Role:

My Code's Revenue Operations and Planning team consists of sales-facing, portfolio-proficient pitch experts. We take a diverse-first approach to media and marketing. We're built to reflect and engage multicultural and diverse audiences and enable brands to build lasting relationships with America's growth audiences.

The newly created Senior Vice President (SVP), Revenue Operations & Planning role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for planning and directing a broad range of revenue growth activities. The SVP will oversee our brand engagement and response strategy, focusing on inspiring consumer engagement with our brand, which builds relationships and drives business results. This role will guide the development of the highest-profile campaigns. It will also track the performance of all campaigns and adjust marketing strategies and resources to meet changing market and competitive conditions.The ideal candidate for this position combines creative development and brand and account management experiences across multiple businesses, categories, or industries, working for brands and agencies. The SVP should also bring a proven track record of success in developing insight-driven, cross-channel programs and creative campaigns with a passion for building culture and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales enablement and go-to-market strategies that align with and influence the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage general sales materials, positioning decks, and client opportunity development; responsible for post-sale execution.
  • Oversee RFP/RFI responses, proactive pitches, and meeting materials.
  • Direct client services/account management function and is accountable for supporting sales deals and partnerships.
  • Oversee pricing and pricing methodology for rate card and agency clients.
  • Develop content strategies and collaborate with internal teams to deliver engaging content that supports sales efforts, including vertical product materials.
  • Support the implementation of deal or campaign terms with internal partners and external clients. Ensures that a deal or campaign's performance is properly trafficked, monitored, and delivered.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Ad Ops, Product, and Research, to ensure successful campaign executions and troubleshoot client issues.
  • Develop best practices and methodologies to scale support teams to drive success in market and KPIs
  • Assist with identifying needs in the sales organization and creating training content to improve results, fill gaps, and enhance product knowledge for the team you support.
  • Plans and executes assigned aspects of Experiential marketing events. Participates in developing event concepts. Ensures return on investment for events.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Collect marketplace feedback, research, and insights to guide our advertising strategy and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with Research and Insights to build compelling, differentiated research and marketing materials.


Key Projects: The first 90 days for our new SVP of Revenue Operations and Planning, your focus will be on establishing a strong foundation for success: organizing a high-performing Product Marketing, Account Management, and Media Solutions team, implementing best-in-class processes and operations for maximum efficiency, and building a robust sales enablement pipeline for 2H 2024 and 2025. You'll forge vital relationships with our O&O brands, playing a pivotal role in our branded content studio's success in reaching multicultural audiences. Expect to champion our exceptional IP and franchises, streamline pre- and post-sales operations, elevate client satisfaction, and ensure cross-functional excellence with our branded content studio.

Qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, Business, Advertising or a related field.
  • 10+ years experience in brand and strategy, program and creative development, and strategy at the Director level or above.
  • Significant experience in product marketing/account management/client services roles in digital marketing is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape and experience marketing to multicultural audiences, including research and research tools
  • Proven track record of strategic capabilities & thinking, with demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite. Familiarity with Salesforce, Asana, Comscore, and eMarketer is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising principles and forward-thinking around leveraging technology and data to advance marketing effectiveness.

  • Detailed oriented and ability to drive action and results against core business objectives and KPIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Communicate comfortably with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels.

The anticipated yearly base salary range for this position is $225,000-$240,000. The salary and bonus structure are determined by a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
