Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accountant
with strong
Accounts Receivable (AR)
and
Accounts Payable (AP)
skills to join their dynamic team. This position is integral to supporting the organizations growth and maintaining their high standard of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Process and reconcile customer invoices and payments with accuracy.
Monitor AR aging reports to ensure timely collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
Resolve billing discrepancies and address payment issues directly with customers.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Manage vendor invoices, approvals, and timely disbursements.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Maintain accurate expense records and coding.
General Accounting:
Post journal entries related to AR/AP transactions.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile financial records, including bank accounts.
Prepare financial reports and support audits as required.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
Identify opportunities to streamline AR/AP processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of accounting experience with a focus on AR and AP.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication.
Familiarity with manufacturing or service industries is a plus.
