Preferred Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 Years’ Experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong background in containerization such as Docker, AKS, ACS and Kubernetes.
Experience in managed and serverless databases such as Azure SQL, and NoSQL
Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure Preferred networking).
Proficiency in cloud computing technologies and services offered by major cloud providers.
Expertise in managing and optimizing cloud resources, including compute instances, storage, and networking components.
Strong knowledge and hand-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices, such as Terraform.
Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Windows) and their configurations in a cloud environment.
In-depth understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, VPCs, routing, load balancing, and firewall configurations in a cloud environment.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls and compliance standards.
Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) in cloud environments.
Proficiency in implementing and managing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in the cloud (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, SolarWinds, Splunk).
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions in a cloud environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and adapt to the rapidly changing cloud landscape.
A background in CMMI and Gov Cloud Not required but desired
Experience in Agile Processes and delivery
Candidates must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Education
Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
Azure Certifications Highly Desired
Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate and coordinate with development teams in the deployment of products and frameworks.
Develop IaC to support components of the development team and third-party suppliers.
Execute design review with Enterprise Architect to deliver components into hybrid environments.
Work with stakeholder to develop requirement specifications for deployment of a Digital Enterprise
Perform Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) development and tracking with Digital Enterprise
Track and capture design decision notices, impacts, and design changes as they occur throughout the Digital Enterprise.
Provide guidance and standards for DevOps and security implementations.
Pay Details: $80.00 to $120.00 per hour
