Currently Seeking an Overnight Shipping Supervisor
Shift 3p.m.-1a.m. Mon-Fri
Pay $20 per hour
Responsibilities include:
Conducting Safety, GMP and SOP Meetings with employees, plans, establishes priorities and oversees the processes in shipping that are required to achieve consistency within the policies and food safety requirements. Will work with the shipping manager to prepare schedules and coordinate activities to ensure consistent staffing. Helping to develop and revise standard operational procedures workers to ensure compliance with standards. Will train employees and other duties. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, stand, walk and sit.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Bachelor's degree preferred
Must have 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be Bilingual.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, stand, walk and sit.
Axapta,Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook a plus.
Operate Pallet Jacks and Forklifts
WMS System background and application of use
Must be willing to work in refrigerated warehouse environment - Cold/Wet 38°F.
Must be flexible shift and hours vary.
