Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift, Day Shift
Job Description:
•Greet and Welcome clients: The healthcare receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. They warmly greet and welcome individuals, ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere.
•Answering Phone Calls: Handling incoming phone calls is a primary responsibility. The receptionist must answer inquiries, provide information, and direct calls to the appropriate departments or staff members.
•Scheduling Appointments: The receptionist manages the appointment scheduling process. They coordinate with patients and healthcare providers to find suitable time slots, update the appointment calendar, and send reminders to patients.
•Client Registration: Collecting and updating client information is essential. The receptionist registers new clients, verifies existing client details, and ensures accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
•Insurance Verification: Assisting clients and their families with insurance-related queries and verifying insurance coverage is part of the receptionist's role. They may need to gather insurance information, process claims, and communicate with insurance providers.
•Maintaining Client Records: The receptionist ensures that client records are organized and confidentially maintained. This includes filing paperwork, inputting data into electronic systems, and retrieving records when necessary.
•Coordinating with Staff: Effective communication with healthcare providers and staff members is crucial. The receptionist relays messages, schedules meetings, and assists in coordinating client care as needed.
•Handling Administrative Tasks: The receptionist may be responsible for various administrative duties, such as managing office supplies, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is advantageous
