The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring for administrative roles at the home office and serve as backup recruiter for BT’s. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Post and manage job openings on various job boards and the company career page.
- Screen resumes and applications and conduct initial phone / remote interviews.
- Support hiring managers with scheduling interviews and communication with candidates.
- Supervise the productivity and performance of the Onboarding and the Timekeeper / Office Assistant roles.
- Support the review and responsiveness to the HR Inbox for designated hours during the day.
- Specifically serve as a point of contact for face to face engagement with employees and staff at the home office and locale clinics. Currently role will require weekly 3x days at Van Nys location, 1x day at OC and 1x day at San Fernando.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory state required training. This may include safety training, and anti-harassment trainings.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to evaluations, benefits, and leave: disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety.
- Act as a point of contact for basic employee questions and concerns, escalating complex issues to senior HR staff.
- Assist with HR initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- In collaboration with the HR Director, participates in employee disciplinary meetings, involuntary terminations, and investigations.
- Help organize employee engagement activities, such as team-building events and recognition programs.
Compliance and Policy Management
- Under the supervision of the HR Director, maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
- At least one year human resource management experience is preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
