Job Title: Janitor
Location: Tarboro, NC
Pay Range: $14.50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, including dock areas, freezer areas, and break rooms.
- Utilize hand brooms, power scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company sanitation standards.
- Remove refuse from the building and ensure trashcans are emptied and clean.
- Report any pest control issues to the supervisor and ensure pest control systems are functioning.
- Perform seasonal duties such as removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus three months of related experience or training.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
- Capability to solve routine problems and understand safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Physical ability to handle various tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking.
- Willingness to work in a moderate noise environment and occasionally in extreme cold.
