We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Production Assistant with our Manufacturing Facility located in Deer Park, Texas.

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Production Assistant with our Manufacturing Facility located in Deer Park, Texas.
Essential Job Duties:
- Maintain protection of the environmental and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
- Provide attention to detail and dedication to work in order to ensure reliability of the work site as high-quality product.
- Ensure that yourself and others are respected, supported and encouraged to grow and succeed in their job.
- Support all safety and environmental programs, and Responsible Care guiding principles to ensure the facilities operate in a manner that protects the environmental and the health and safety of our employees and myself and the public.
- Maintain as our highest priorities: Protection of our environment, health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities, safe transport of the products we ship.
- Provide attention to detail, and dedication to work to ensure reliability of the work site as well as high quality product.
- Prepares and maintains files for the production and technical departments including critical items checklists, safety checks, operator round sheets, ISO records, production reports, operating logs, etc. Manages the daily paperwork management and filing systems.
- Reviews daily production, efficiency, and raw material usage reports and reconciles month-end reports for unit responsibility areas. Prepares CSF & HRTF spreadsheets for the site.
- Performs all administrative functions for the supervisors, superintendent, and manager of the department.
- Manages and processes contractor documentation for production contractors.
- Updates unit files and inputs information for unit key measure charts monthly
- Updates and maintains computer database systems related to production systems.
- Handle special projects and assignments as directed by supervision.
- Assist in the head count of employees for the Deer Park PVC/KOH administration building rally point during plant emergencies.
- Assist SMC on operating logs and unit SOP's updates as marked for the process areas
- MOC database management and updating redlined procedures, creating, updating, closing. KPI Report to issue monthly.
- Environmental report post-closing
- Participating in Audits for the plant: ISO, NSF, HESS coordinated audit, and Operational Assessment
- Manages production and technical group requisitions and blanket purchase order entry.
- Performs backfill duties for T&D coordinators including billing of shipments, inputting production into SAP, ordering raw materials, and performing production closing duties as needed.
- Perform other job duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Must be able to respond to off hour emergencies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications; strong computer skills
- Good working knowledge of SAP.
- Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
