Technical Production Assembler

Volt is immediately hiring a Technical Production Assembler in Sherwood, OR. As a Technical Production Assembler you will: Demonstrate attention to detail and possess basic electrical and/or mechanical skills. Candidates who show initiative, help improve our processes, and meet schedules will have opportunities to advance. Accurately and safely assemble electromechanical assemblies in accordance with drawings, written, or verbal instructions, which may include the following tasks: Solder, strip, crimp, splice electrical wires Build mechanical subassemblies using a variety of fastening methods Torque fasteners to proper spec and in proper sequence Route cables and securing wiring throughout systems Properly and consistently attach labels or name plates to assemblies, components, or cables Measure dimensions to verify proper clearance of parts Safely use standard assembly tooling (hex wrenches, screw drivers, wire cutters, wire strippers, torque tools, etc.) The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred • Basic computer proficiency Ability to do simple math and accurately measure materials • Able to read and understand written instructions and follow verbal instructions Pay Rate: $18/hour-$23/hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.
