BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent

Five (5) years' experience as a Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst Active TS/SCI clearance Current CI Polygraph DoD 8570 IASAE Level III (CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP) Desired Skills

Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Information Assurance (IA) standards Strong customer service orientation Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Highly self-motivated and directed This is not remote work opportunity Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment Description

The Cyber Security Engineer will work with the Joint Threat Warning System (JTWS) Air Team to perform complex cybersecurity engineering tasks for the customer. The Cyber Security Engineer will serve as the JTWS Air Information System Security Officer (ISSO) supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Responsibilities Include: Providing cyber security support to all engineering and manufacturing development processes through developmental and operational testing phases to include assessing, documenting, and refining cyber security requirements Understanding the various Department of Defense and USSOCOM cyber security management tools (eMass, XACTA, Service Now) and standards Providing cyber security support to JTWS-Air security packages, including developing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSP); processing and managing of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and related Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM); and documentation support required for Authority to Operate (ATO) authorizations and ATO reauthorizations. Acquiring and maintaining multiple classified accounts in order to maintain the proper cognizance and oversight on all relevant PEO-SR, PM ISS cybersecurity packages Performing or reviewing technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies Providing Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content Assisting architects and system developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of cross-agency security policies and enterprise solutions Researching and recommending security solutions and evaluating the vulnerabilities and security of network solutions Providing cyber security support to include overseeing the development and maintenance of a system's cybersecurity solutions; overseeing cyber security testing to assess security controls and record compliance; performing vulnerability-level risk assessments; enforcing security control implementation and testing; and any additional duties pertaining to cyber security FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-LH1 Clearance Information
