Description: WHAT WE’RE DOING The Aircraft Media Gateway program enables the P-8A aircraft to deliver advanced maritime and littoral Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, equipping the United States Navy to effectively counter existing, evolving, and emerging threats.

The Aircraft Media Gateway (AMG) System generates media builds that enable the initialization of aircraft subsystems, facilitate the execution of onboard functions, and support the capture and transfer of mission data. By providing concurrent build and extract operations, as well as delta build capabilities, AMG streamlines media build and mission data management processes, significantly expediting the workflow.

THE WORK As a member of our team, you will work in an agile scrum development environment, where you will design and develop technically complex software systems. You will be responsible for supporting the generation of reliable and reproducible media builds, ensuring that the latest fleet releases for the aircraft can be supported. You will provide support for external network interfaces for data ingest and offload, as well as hardware rack builds. You will also be responsible for maintaining the program lab infrastructure and performing on-site hardware installs and integration.

Who You Are: The ideal candidate has a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional experience, a Masters degree with over 7 years of experience , or equivalent experience/combined education.

If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

#RMSC6ISR Basic Qualifications: • Experience in Linux technologies •Knowledge of Network Engineering to include knowledge of LAN and WAN networking topographies, working knowledge of networking planning, subnetting and virtualization, along with troubleshooting • DevSecOps experience • While there is no clearance required to start the role the candidate must be willing to obtain a secret clearance Desired Skills: • Java • Software Architecture • Containerization technology - Docker, Podman • Scripting experience - Python, Bash • Boot Image Creation • Virtual Machines • Cisco switch configuration Security Clearance Statement:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
