Cloud Services Engineer/Lead
- in this role, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, secure and enhance a cloud infrastructure and systems for one of the world's leading health organizations. Your experience with cloud security, cloud data processing and storage will be used to create roadmaps for cloud integration, utilization, and maintenance. Working alongside other cloud and development engineering teams, you will collaborate with colleagues and client team members supporting network and architecture assessment, Authorization to Operate (ATO), threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and security operations. Responsibilities:
You'll get to sharpen your skills on the latest tech stack in the areas of DevOps tooling, CICD, Containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure as code Responsible for building and operating a highly available Cloud platform Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available software using best in class technologies Establish best practices and build tools to drive the use of CI/CD and the adoption of infrastructure/platform components by engineering teams Automate operational tasks and infrastructure as code Maintain best practices around notifications and response processes Implement DevOps infrastructure components and best practices Deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments Apply appropriate security measures to safeguard government systems by implementing industry-standard best practices adequately and NIH mandated mitigations. Design and implement secure network solutions that meet customer requirements Assume a technical role in the administration and management of infrastructure solutions that are deployed in accordance with Security Guidelines Design, customize, and document services using Agile development approaches and methodologies Installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and servers Performing operating system and software installation, testing, patching and upgrades Monitoring the Heath of internal environment and connections Research new technologies that are applicable to current projects and make recommendations to improve performance, optimize operations, and reduce costs Assist with technical designs and documentation Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Experience in Public Cloud Architectures, Cloud brokering solutions or Cloud Management Solutions for Public Cloud Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP Certifications: AWS, Azure or GCP Experience with Infrastructure Automation, Infrastructure capacity monitoring and automated scaling solutions 2+ years of experience with Docker and 1+ year with orchestration (Kubernetes) administration and troubleshooting 3+ years working in Enterprise DevOps model - Automation of application code deployment (Jenkins, Maven, Git, Nexus etc) Great Linux skills and experience in Scripting Python, Perl, Bash Experience with automation/management frameworks (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack)
