As a
Lead Project Software Engineer , you will be responsible for all software related topics for a specific project.
Key Responsibilities On-time and on-budget execution of challenging international development projects in the field of software Technical leadership of the project team in the area of software development Analysis and implementation of the software requirements specification in compliance with the standards and regulations to be observed Planning of internal development activities, definition of work packages Integration of internal and external software in different vehicle types Responsibility for the creation of specifications, documents relevant to approval, vehicle software and ensuring the quality of these documents Develop and manage test strategies and plans for vehicle software verification and validation as well as documenting and analyzing the results Supervision of vehicle commissioning and type testing Technical contact for other internal departments (electrical system engineers, approval, documentation, etc.) Cooperation and communication with customers, suppliers and authorities as well as external approval bodies in an international environment Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or equivalent education Several years of professional experience in Systems Engineering and/or Rail Vehicle design Confident handling of programming according to EN 50657 Interest and specific experience in software architectures for rail vehicles Several years of project management experience with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the railway industry Application experience in CANOpen / Ethernet-based bus systems Programming knowledge in PLC, Java and C++ desirable Fluent in English Any ability in German, both spoken and written, is a plus Goal-oriented, structured and economical way of working Open, communicative leader with a high degree of social competence, sense of responsibility and assertiveness Willingness to travel What we offer Stadler US employee benefits package includes:
