Job Description
Nemours is seeking an Application Analyst (Business Applications) to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Jacksonville, Florida.
The primary responsibility of the Application Analyst is to provide technical support for Workforce Management applications in support of business and/or clinical operations. This position conducts workflow analysis, provides recommendations for system design and corrective actions, and ensures timely resolution of problems within the software application(s) supported utilizing normal change control processes. The position supports Time and Labor, Attendance and Advanced Scheduling systems. Gathers and consolidates current and future requirements with business and/or clinical departments as required to facilitate application build. Has a thorough understanding of the workflow for each implementation. Provides recommendations for implementation of enhancements or corrective actions based on current analyses and understanding of operational workflows. Assumes lead analyst role as designated by supervisor or Project Manager which includes: a) acting as or assisting project manager in the coordination of project plan activities for designated go live; b) ensuring timely and effective communication between all members of the project team regarding daily status and issues.; c) preparing go-live and project sign-off documents and processes; d) facilitating or attending regular meetings with project team and stakeholders as appropriate. Develops and facilitates an issues reporting and resolution process. Escalates irresolvable issues as appropriate to the line management and Project Stakeholders. Constructs and maintains the necessary documentation and artifacts for supported application(s) under the guidance of a Project Manager or Supervisor. Completes systems configuration activities including application design, build, testing, validation, and documentation of system changes. Adheres to normal change control processes for these activities. Coordinates the planning, development, and participation of end-user training on supported application(s). Presents findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and/or oral presentations to Supervisor, Project Manager, and/or Peers in order to support knowledge sharing for go-live or post-go-live support. Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required. Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or other related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience required. Experience within the healthcare environment is highly preferred. Experience with Oracle Time and Attendance, QGENDA, UKG(Kronos) or other Workforce Management systems.
