Our Client, an Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Data Analyst for their Warren, MI location.
Responsibilities: Our business analysis team supports operational improvement and business decision-making through ad-hoc statistical analysis of retail dealer supplied data, curated enterprise data and self-constructed data sets. The ideal candidate has a passion utilizing data to tell actionable stories that help drive the business forward. As the digital landscape changes and reporting requirements shift, specific tasks may change. The ideal candidate is open to change and flexibility in their day-to-day responsibilities. Develop, interpret, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI performance reports for each department within company's Dealer Chat. Update performance dashboard. Leverage the XM Discover tool to underscore and supplement findings. Participate in quarterly analytics meetings to share/compare news, challenges, tips, best practices, guiding principles, case studies Trend historical data to help shape measurable objectives and targets for annual planning purposes Maintain a reporting pipeline calendar Maintain and report digital headcount Leverage PowerBI to create visual representations of data and insights Assist in developing KPIs definitions and goal adjustments. Assist forecasting team with scheduling and scheduling audits. Creating and educating / coaching on research and analytics. Foster a metrics-based approach to glean insights and drive the business forward Assist in revenue generating strategy meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or related degree Excellent verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders. Strong data analytical ability - focused on synthesizing data from multiple sources and systems Thrives in a high pressure, collaborative team environment Ability to multitask in a fast-moving workplace, meet tight deadlines and prioritize with strategy in mind A collaborative, relationship builder A customer-centric, results-driven mindset Self-starter with a drive for innovation and continuous learning Experience with Power BI and a knowledge of data best practices Supporting Brand Quality, Warranty, and data analytics. Thrive in challenging situations working with cross-function teams to resolve complex issues Build statistical models & perform testing to depict performance trends Project Management Experience Knowledge of Data Integration tools: Knime, SQL Experience with Power BI (Required) Advanced Technical and Analytical Abilities Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling Advanced Interpersonal Skills and ability to Clearly Communicate C++ Programming Experience Preferred Qualifications:
NoSQL(Hadoop, Casandra) Databricks Experience with PowerApps Business Intelligence/Reporting tools: Excel, Cognos Databases: Access, Oracle, DB2
