Summary / Position Purpose: The Data Entry Coordinator supervises employees who perform data entry and verification tasks. This role is responsible for reviewing and maintaining product data in our Product Information Manager (PIM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and Websites. This role works with suppliers, gathers product information, manipulates data, works in spreadsheets, and coordinates with the users of the data. Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities: Acts as central source for new part setup requests from branches. Researches, maintains, and updates product information and pricing. Reworks and reformats vendor files as needed in our data upload template. Reviews existing products and descriptions, and UOMs for consistency and accuracy. Maintains cross references and substitutions as vendors change preferred products. Modifies/Uploads MSDS/Spec sheets Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma, or GED required. 2+ years' experience working in data entry or maintenance a plus. Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Basic knowledge of inventory control practices and product management. Expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Prior Experience with PIM (Product Information Management) software a plus

Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
