Job Summary The Treasury Analyst is responsible for treasury related analyses, conducting or assisting in daily treasury operations and transactions, and using analytical skills to forecast financial status. Responsible for analysis, forecasting and reporting cash usage, borrowings, and interest rates, monitoring any investments, and monitor costs of company's merchant services. May perform monthly bank/account reconciliations on selected accounts. Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, accounting, or business Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Minimum 4 years' experience in an accounting, treasury or finance environment Preferred: Healthcare industry experience Strong organizational and critical thinking skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards Key Responsibilities Monitor daily cash transactions and compile, verify, and analyze cash flow information to prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly cash status reports and consolidated reporting for management. Develops and maintains cashflow forecasting reports using Treasury, accounting, and financial modeling data and appropriate estimating techniques. Maintains and administers investment portfolio and bank balance reporting, and service fee reconciliations. Monitors costs associated with credit card transactions. Analyzes treasury banking or investment portfolio data, draws conclusions and presents recommendations on decisions and actions based upon qualitative and quantitative analyses. Ensure activities posted to both cash and clearing GL accounts are reviewed and reconciled in a timely manner. Assist in bank reconciliation process, reconciliation of the bank statement against the GL and any assigned clearing accounts. Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner; as required, make calls to the bank directly to clarify adjustments or to clarify items on the bank statements in order to reconcile activity or properly code it; liaise with auditors to confirm bank balances as of a certain date. Maintain documentation and ensure all procedures support department and company policies and procedures. This includes developing new and updating current written desk procedures.
