Title: Senior Property Accountant
Location: Vienna, VA
Salary: $80,000-$100,000 + bonuses

We're seeking an individual with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a minimum of two years' experience in commercial property accounting. Proficiency with Yardi software is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and efficiency, along with the ability to manage multiple properties and clients effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

- Record income, expenses, and asset/liability changes monthly with precision.
- Conduct thorough reviews of balance sheet accounts and related schedules to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Oversee cash balances and monthly bank reconciliations meticulously.
- Prepare and review cash funding requests as necessary.
- Compile and review monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Collaborate with property management on annual budgeting processes.
- Update projected cash flow schedules throughout the year.
- Perform CAM reconciliations for annual operating expense recoveries.
- Manage tenant ledgers and address disputes as they arise.
- Calculate and process management fees accurately.
- Monitor tenant sales reporting and compute percentage rent.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns promptly.
- Review and execute monthly distributions to equity partners.
