Interim Division Controller | Hybrid

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a trusted real estate firm looking for an interim Division Controller. This is a close client of ours with a solid track record of success. The role is interim through LHH, but could end up going permanent for the client if both parties agree/are ultimately interested after a period. This role will report to the head of finance for the organization and will support a team of property accountants. Real estate property accounting P&L ownership and understanding the day to day of running an accounting department are key here.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee Month/Year End
• Financial Statements
• GL Maintenance
• Ensure GAAP Compliance
• Property Accounting for Assigned Portfolio
• Financial Reporting
• Reconciliations
• Journal Entries
• Budgeting for Properties
• Work with Various Divisions on Financial Data
Requirements:
• Bachelors in Accounting required
• 6+ years' progressive accounting experience, ideally within property accounting
• CPA preferred

Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour
