You'll collaborate with management, conduct inspections and audits, deliver training, and recommend improvements to minimize workplace injuries. As an EHS Coordinator you will:
  • Collaborates with management to implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and rules
  • Ensures completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting
  • Implements operations and activities to ensure a safe working environment
  • Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries and illnesses,
  • Reviews safety training and written programs and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates
  • EHS Coordinator will conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations
  • Shares environmental safety information with appropriate levels in the organization
  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends regarding safety to drive process improvement.
  • Reviews existing policies, procedures, and programs for potential improvements
  • Reviews incident reports and implements corrective actions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in safety or related experience (3-5 years)
  • Knowledge of safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards is a plus as EHS Coordinator.
  • Ability to facilitate corrective actions to proactively reduce risk.
  • Knowledge of Local, State and Federal compliance.
  • Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, managers and other departments.
  • Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations.
