SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a CNIC PROTECTION PROGRAM OPERATIONS BRANCH HEAD in the FORCE PROTECTION N34 PROGRAM of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS. Responsibilities You will analyze Anti-Terrorism (AT/FP) efforts and processes to develop support of theater-wide operations and planning. You will compile written reports related to a security program status, progress, or other business information. You will maintain control of encrypted sensitive data files and classified messages that access data through remote terminals. You will supervise a staff of Security Specialists for the execution of command Personnel, Physical Industrial, and Information Security programs. You will respond to a terrorism incident using knowledge of critical incident command, crisis, and consequence management. You will prepare point papers, memoranda, talking papers, or presentations on matters pertaining to Anti-Terrorism. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides expert guidance, assistance and oversight over all elements of aligned Protection Programs at Navy installations and entities worldwide; 2) Determines short and long term budget requirements for Protection Programs; 3) Oversees Protection Program policies, practices and systems deployed at Navy activities and installations; and 4) Provides direct supervision of a team of civilian and military personnel.
