Over the past 5 years, they have tripled their revenue and now employ close to 400 people. The company has a bold vision to grow to $1b in revenue while maintaining its status as a privately held, family-owned organization. Position Overview
The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company by managing three key accounting departments: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the Credit Department. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will lead and mentor a team of 20 accounting professionals while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the AP, AR, and Credit departments, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 20 accounting employees, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and support the company’s growth objectives.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Partner with senior management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and trends.
- Establish and maintain effective credit policies to manage risk while supporting customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, GAAP standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AP, AR, and credit management functions.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with leadership.
- Experience in the industrial distribution or similar industry is a plus.
